About the League

This football program is governed by the Huntley Youth Football and Cheer Association and is not in any way ran by or associated with the Huntley Park District or School District 158.

MUSTANG FOOTBALL IS OPEN TO ALL SCHOOL DISTRICT #158 STUDENTS GRADES K-8

Huntley Youth Football participates in the TCYFL The Chicagoland Youth Football League which includes teams from Cary, Barrington, Lake Zurich, Antioch, Warren, Wauconda, Grayslake, LITH, Tri-Cities, Wilmont, Prairie Ridge, Oak Park, Libertyville, Prospect Heights, Crystal Lake, Plainfield, Bartlett and Buffalo Grove.  The top teams in each division will be seeded in a playoff system at the end of the regular season and play for a TCYFL SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Players are separated by 5 age & weight classes.

 Weight/Age Divisions   (age as of 9/1/08):

 Bantam - 6 year olds minimum 57 lbs. & 7 & 8 year olds up to 87 lbs.                              

Featherweight - 9 & 10 year olds up to 97 lbs.

Middleweight - 11 & 12 year olds up to 107 lbs.

Lightweights - 12 & 13 year olds up to 123 lbs.

Heavyweights - 12 & 13 year olds over 123 lbs.

Each weight/age division will be split into one Big 10 team and as many PAC 10 teams as players are available – everyone will be on a team and play. Featherweight and Middleweight may also have one Mac10 team depending on the amount of players at those levels.  Big 10, Mac 10, and PAC 10 teams travel to away games and play home games in Huntley at Marlow Middle School.
